vnyc: warm your heart

VNYC kicked off the first of our quarterly seasonal get-togethers with a great night at a funky new downtown venue - Katra.
To welcome fall, VNYC treated the first 50 guests to a red Variety scarf as a surprise gift on arrival to help "warm their hearts". The night was a huge success with over $1000 being raised, ensuring 200 needy kids can attend the annual Variety Children�s Holiday Party courtesy of VNYC.
The annual Variety Children�s Holiday Party is a party for approximately 1600 special kids. They have a truly fun day with friends playing games and being entertained. Every kid leaves with a toy and a five dollar bill to take home. Among those attending are kids from the NYC Pediatric Care, St Mary�s Hospital for Children, Sloan Kettering Pediatric Cancer Ward, The Association to benefit Children and Good Shepherd Services.
VNYC supporters at "warm your heart" were treated to a great a selection of happy hour drinks, funky tunes thanks to our guest DJ Mr Sternstein, some incredible prizes and the chance to meet some new friends. This made for a great night all round and "warmed the hearts" of many.
We thank everyone for their generous support and look forward to seeing everyone front and centre at our next seasonal get together in February - stay tuned!
