VNYC welcomes all young professionals looking to meet people across various fields of business, who would like to do something, big or small, to help kids in need.

VNYC is part of Variety, The Children's Charity of New York and has a long history in the New York Tri-State area. Founded in 1948, Variety raises funds for hospitals, agencies and programs based within the tri-state area.

The Variety mission, "Never say no to a child in need," unites members, contributors and volunteers to meet the needs of children through fundraising events, activities and programs. VNYC substantially strengthens the achievements of the Chapter by generating awareness of the organization amongst young professionals and the significance of our presence in the New York area.

VNYC works to cultivate new leaders within our organization and new relationships throughout the New York Metropolitan area. We offer fun events including mixers, sports games, toy drives, and outings. The focus of these activities is to have fun, meet new people; and, most importantly, contribute something meaningful to needy children.
